(Photo by Lance King/Getty Images)The 2018 college football season is over and it’s time to start looking ahead to the 2019 season.ESPN is here for that, as the Worldwide Leader has released a series of “bold” predictions for college football’s next season.College football writer Mark Schlabach is predicting two major programs will miss bowl games next year.Those two programs: North Carolina and Kansas.The Tar Heels and the Jayhawks are now led by Mack Brown and Les Miles, respectively, but those two national title-winning head coaches won’t be going bowling in Year explained why:Brown, who turns 68 four days before the Aug. 31 opener against South Carolina in Charlotte, North Carolina, inherits a team that went 2-9 in 2018. Seven of UNC’s nine losses were by 10 points or fewer, including two in overtime.Keep an eye on UNC’s home game against Miami.
